How You Can Make a Difference This Year!
- Play, Parks, Public health. Innovation, problem-solving and environmental challenges are some of the biggest development themes of the near future, and we’re in the forefront of connecting children to nature and creative, hands-on learning in urban Ghana. Now, our top priority for welcoming children to our evolving park site Mmofra Place, is sanitation water and solar infrastructure. Safe toilets and water sources mean a healthy natural environment that is welcoming to children of all backgrounds! With your donations, we can construct and maintain composting toilets, a borehole, solar powered pumps and an aquaponics system as the first phase of facilities for children to use and learn from.
- Literacy. From designing reading landscapes for children to collecting carefully chosen books, running reading clinics for teachers and helping children read better with confidence, we do full service literacy work in out-of-classroom settings.
All US monetary donations made to our fiscal sponsors FJC and designated for Mmofra Foundation are tax deductible.

15 years and counting!
When you donate, you welcome every child who shows up at 2 Forest Avenue, Dzorwulu, Accra; you offer that child a green space, a book to read, an experience to savor and a great confidence boost.
Through your generosity, we are creating a unique public space for children, the first of its kind in any urban center in Ghana.
Your support produces young African adults who pay forward the benefits of Mmofra programming, both at home and abroad.
