Volunteer
You can volunteer with Mmofra from literally any location in the world as long as you have a good communication link to our coordinators! For volunteers living in Ghana or visiting for shorter periods, our premises are conveniently located in Accra close to the Ablenkpe traffic lights and next to Marvels Mini-Golf.
Every day, we are making more global connections with like-minded people who generously share their ideas, skills and networks with us.
Update!
In addition to our volunteering information at the bottom of this page, Our Playtime in Africa Initiative opens up many more opportunities on site for anyone with skills in the following areas, who can cover their own travel, room and board:
architecture, art, design, early childhood development, engineering, environment, horticulture, hydrology, landscape, mapping, management, media, philanthropy, placemaking, planning, play, social entrepreneurship, solar technology, sustainability, water management, wood/bamboo working.
Our Pinterest boards will give you an idea of some of the concepts we are considering for our 2-acre space and for urban green space in general.
Openings are available in the summer of 2013 to join us in a design/build experiment with trees and wood recovered from the Accra windstorms of 2012!
