Be our eyes and ears
Tell us about any opportunities which match our goals. Have you come across a potential funding source? A grant maker inviting proposals? An organization working for social change specific to children, sustainability, arts and culture, literacy, or play? Your world-wide contributions give us a powerful tool for directing resources to our work.
Raise funds online
Raise money and awareness for our projects through one or more of many online crowd funding sites. We’re happy to help you prepare a winning plug for us!
Host a fundraiser
Do you belong to a school club, social group or service organization? If not you can start one! Find a creative way to raise funds with us and have fun along the way! We will support your efforts with information, letters of recommendation, blog posts or in any other way we can. In April 2011, the Art Club of Washington State University in Pullman, USA made us a beneficiary of their annual silent auction event and had a wonderful evening of music and refreshment.
Host a visiting volunteer or guest of Mmofra
We will soon be offering a small number of year round volunteer positions and inviting participants from abroad or outside Accra to our upcoming conferences and workshops. If you can provide any of our guests with a good home stay experience in Accra for a few days, please sign up, and we will give you plenty of notice! Locations within walking or relatively easy driving distance of Dzorwulu are preferred.
You’re welcome to join our monthly language club sessions. We expect to hold them more often, with your support. If you are coming as a group of three or more, we prefer that you let us know in advance. Don’t be surprised to find yourself participating in the activities. You can find out what our calendar of events on our facebook page or by contacting Mr. Budu Afful.
